Quest 3 and 3S Are Bundled with ‘Batman: Arkham Shadow’ and Quest+ Membership Until Early Next Year

Amid the official unveiling of the new $300 Quest 3S today, Meta dropped another bombshell at its Connect developer conference: all new Quest 3 and Quest 3S purchases are getting the much anticipated Batman: Arkham Shadow bundled if they order before early next year.

From now until April 2025, all new Quest 3/S owners can nab Camouflaj’s upcoming Batman: Arkham Shadow for free, which is set to release on October 22nd—just a few days after the October 18th release of Quest 3S.

Slated to be a no-holds-barred canon entry in the Arkham series timeline, and set a few months after the events of 2013’s Arkham Origins, we got a chance to go hands-on with Batman: Arkham Shadows, noting the Quest 3 exclusive definitely delivers on immersive combat and the franchise’s patently gritty narrative.

“I’d go so far as to say that [the VR game] is a more interesting version of Batman to me than the older version from the later Arkham games on the timeline,” Road to VR demoer Thomas Wilde writes. “Developer  Camouflaj has taken advantage of Arkham Shadow’s status as an interquel to write Batman as experienced but still quite raw, in a city that barely makes any sense: the sewers are nicer than the city streets, the cops are more dangerous than the crooks, and the most moral person in Gotham is a 20-something vigilante.”

New Quest 3/S purchases before April 2025 also come with a three-month trial to Meta Quest+, the games subscription service which offers up two curated titles each month that you can keep if you stay on as a subscriber.

Beyond the three-month trial, Meta Quest+ normally costs $8 per month, or $5 per month when billed annually at $60. You can learn more about Meta Quest+ and keep tabs on upcoming games here.
